Terms
Bought once, not rented.
These terms cover your use of Macdials, a Mac application published by High5 Labs LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company at 4030 Wake Forest Road, Ste 349, Raleigh, NC 27609.
Your license
Buying Macdials gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on every Mac signed in to your iCloud account, and with every monitor plugged into them. It is not a subscription and it does not expire. You may not redistribute the app, resell it, or share your license key.
The trial
Macdials runs for fourteen days with everything enabled and nothing to sign up for. After that it stops holding your settings until a license key is entered. Nothing is uninstalled and nothing about your monitors is changed.
Updates
Your purchase includes 2 years of updates from the day you buy, including the compatibility releases that follow a new version of macOS. After those two years the app keeps working, with no reduction in what it does, on the last build your license covered. Renewing buys another 2 years of updates if you want them. We will not disable or expire a version you already have.
Refunds
Fourteen days from purchase, no questions asked. Write to support@macdials.com, or ask Paddle, who processed the payment.
Payment
Paddle.com Market Limited is the merchant of record for purchases and handles payment, invoicing and tax. Their terms apply to the transaction itself.
What the app does to your hardware
Macdials sets brightness, contrast and volume by sending the standard DDC/CI commands a monitor's own buttons send, over the cable, to the monitor. It uses the same published control codes and writes no firmware. Where a panel declines to answer, Macdials says so and names the reason rather than quietly dimming the picture in software instead.
Warranty and liability
Macdials is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Macdials is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
You can stop using Macdials at any time. We may end your license if you redistribute the app or share your key, and will refund you if we do.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.
